The Secret wasn't really a Secret
I don't know if it was last year or the year before that the book and movie "The Secret" came out. The teachings and ideas of the book are very helpful in making your life better and more abundant. The main idea of the book is the power of attraction and posetive mental attitude.
I don't know why it is thought that it is a secret. There have been books and essays on all of the suggestion that were included in the book. There was a book called Posetive Mental Attitude or PMA. There are books on visualization, and Anthony Robbins is a great proponent of Neuro Linguistic Programming which has been written about in it's use in sports and fitness in 'intel' posted by another author in this site.
I'm not saying that what was in the book is any less appropriate or less helpful, just that it's not a secret. You can find many books and videos and audio books that are either general self help or specific self help.
It's only a secret if you let it be hidden from you. |
